Everything We Do Builds on These Four Things
Learn to Play
Structured curriculum taught by certified coaches trained specifically for older adult learners. No jumping into the deep end.
Build Friendships
Class-based learning, social leagues, “Dink & Mingle” socials, and community rituals that turn classmates into friends.
Stay Healthy
Warm-up and injury-prevention protocols in every session, balance workshops, partnerships with physical therapists, safe progression standards.
Stay Sharp
A continuous learning ladder—new skills, strategy classes, rules mastery, refereeing, even learning to coach. There’s always a next thing to learn.
Built for Real Beginners. Run by People Who Remember What That Felt Like.
Every coach is IPTPA certified and trained in teaching older adult learners. We don’t assume you’ve ever held a paddle—or that you want to be competitive. Some of our best players came to us saying, “I’ve never been sporty.” Now they can’t imagine life without it.
Class sizes stay small (8-12 people). You’ll know everyone by name by week two—that’s not accidental.
We teach using Coach John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success, where personal best matters more than beating anyone else. That’s the culture everywhere—in lessons, in leagues, in open play.
The Wooden Principle: “Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”
Translation for Start Pickleball: You’re not trying to out-play your friend across the net. You’re trying to be your best, together with your partner, and that’s enough.
